Affiliate cloaking?

    Is everybody doing affiliate cloaking? If yes, what's the real advantage, and which one do you use?

    If not, why not?

    yep. Get your own domain and do a php redirect.

    how? I can do a redirect using any generic html format...

    for e.g. the cpa offer is www.123.com/affid=blah

    and I have a domain www.xyz.com, so in my PPC i will say the destination is www.xyz.com, but in there it will get redirected to www.123.com/affid=blah

    So eventually people still see the affiliate ID.

    You are talking about a TLD (top level domain) redirect. You have to do that at your hosting site.
    I was talking about setting up something similar to where you see something like;

    mysite.com/recommends/fatstuff
    or mysite.com/fatstuff.php

    and so on...
