I am looking for a design for the homepage of my new site. No coding, just a design. The site is an affiliate shop selling beauty products. I will get the winner to design the inner page style as well and give them another $100 for this service. I don't really have much info on what I want. I have uploaded some ideas from other sites and colours here: http://www.my-plague.net/newsite.zip for you to look at. The ideas for the design are completely open. Surprise me! - I do like big blocky text with pastel colours like baby blue, pink and green. A good web 2.0 design as well. You don't need to make a logo as I will get someone else to do that. Just the page design. The only thing I can to tell you is that there has to be a menu with the following items on it - most likely a vertical menu due to the number of items on it, but you can try horizontal it you like: Face Skin Hair Sun care Make up Bath and shower Healing Slimming Nails perfume vitamins FOR VEGANS Organic/natural As for the dimentions, I would like it to fit a 1024x768 resolution with a tiny bit of background to the left and right of the page - so about 980px wide. Hey, thanks for the first entry. For me it's too basic. There isn't enough going on. It looks too much like a template. Don't let that get you down though. I am going to put some more of my ideas up to help soon.
My entry Top left is links of languages. The box where says "Welcome to Beauty" has 4 links on the right side, when click on each link, the content will be displayed on the center. I used Beauty as the name for template, it can be changed to your Domain name later.
masjacky, Thanks for the entry. It's nice. There would have to be space in the centre products to put their title and a description. I like the shapes around the products though!
This is a bit too pink for me! I like the menu arcoss the top, but not the one down the side. The Product listings in the centre are good as well!
So far I like the entry by killuahxh the most. I am now going to set an end date for the contest. Wed 21:00 GMT. I will pick the winning entry and I will work with that person to get it to how I want it to be. Then I will also get them to design an inner page. thanks.
I really like the centre bits. It needs to have a lot more space though for products. I'm not sure about the menu on the left. It looks too like a template.
