Thanks for your response, however they are not yet destitute. They have $300US to start an online business, and costs are covered for a couple of months. Its all about "what to start" to have a chance at making an ongoing income from the internet. Thanks
Ahhh very cool a fellow kiwi! Hi there Thanks for your response and I appreciate your input. You would certainly understand the cost of living in this country
Totally agree about getting what you pay for. This is an expensive place to live, but it costs a lot more to shift elsewhere and set up again.
she could write articles.there is huge demand for that.she could also do article rewriting.Tell her to learn more about adsense and managing blogs as she makes money through writing articles.
She is a great writer. I don't see the same demand that you say though, and I have a site dedicated to writing quality. I know the sites like GetAFreelancer and Elanace are there, but one of them is renowned for paying like $1 for a 500-word article, and it is difficult to get established on the other. I agree though, writing is a great earner if you have the work coming in. Thanks for your response
Yes that has already been suggested to them, and they are considering it as well as other options as mentioned in this thread. I have even offered them my course free of charge so that will save them some more money if they decide this is what they want to do.
Yep, agree. The grass is always greener on other side. When they have been offline for so long, they see people making money online and they think can do as well. Practically, their mindset is offline traditional mindset so it will take much longer for them to learn and adapt to online. It would be better for them to get work offline and then do online work as part time. In other words, don't leave their day job though off cos they do not have a day job now but better for them to focus on getting work offline first. Maybe the dad can really focus on getting offline work while the mom and kid can explore online.
Yes he is trying to get offline work as well. This is how he found out it was not as easy as everyone makes it sound. Your response mentions the "offline mindset" and although I agree in part, we must also remember that there is such a thing as an online mindset. Working online for so long we lose sight of the real world and how difficult it actually is to find work these days. We also tend to forget what it would be like to all of a sudden lose power (electric) - what would the "online mindset" do then?! Thanks for your advice
Making money online is super easy. Its all about what you want to do. If anything there is too many ways to make money online!
Well for starters you could check out my sig link. But seriously, there are so many ways to make cash online, its actually retarded.
Try to find out what skills they have. If you ever use photoshop, try to serve the demand of people to design the image.
Hi, It is good to join affiliate program, but understanding an affiliate programs like Click Bank and Commission Junction will take time. It is very hard to crack. What I would suggest to do some online jobs and there are freelance programs which are very genuine. I have myself earned money and have received the money too. So I can give 100% gurantee. The program I was referring - oDesk and it is a 100% free. program.
