I've decided to turn my photography into wallpapers, and going to add some more photographers stuff later on down the track. The site is 99% finished, I have a couple more photos/cars/shoots to add, and I need to fill out all the "Shoot description" boxes. Also I want the top heading (with the 3 images) to become a flash animation so it gradually changes to a new image every now and again. Other than that - the site is done, with all the ad placements and layout as I had planned. So it's ready for some disecting. http://www.wallpapergarage.com/ Please critique layout/content/idea/advert placement etc I also own exclusivewallpapers.com and thecarlibrary.com for possible future projects.
Thanks for the feedback fellas! - so the basic gist of it is that the site works well... just have to wait and see if it's going to get traffic! I'm really happy that it's (so far) been positive feedback, maybe because i'm a photographer I try to be a perfectionist with everything so i'm pulling my hair over every little thing wrong. Any quick tips on where to submit it? I'm a member on a lot of forums, and intend on posting the link (along with my photography) all around the relevant car forums. Other than that i'm stumped for any other places to submit the site :|
Just posting to let you know that your site is down right now. Daniel EDIT: I Just noticed that you are blocking IPs. It is not actually down.
I honestly think this site will do VERY well... The images on it are superb! Very good job. Only thing you need are more and more images! To promote it, try posting in car mag forums like Max Power, Revs and Photochop websites etc...
Nice Idea for a website, nice integration of Ads. And the template is good enough to attract visitors
I found the art work to be eye catching, nice work with the ads money is soon to come. Layout is easy to use and looking good. Keep up the good work.
Damn - I never blocked anyones IP so it must be the Joomla template?? Do you know what address is banned? Your ISP or your entire region maybe?
Everything is working fine now, it must have been my ISP that was having trouble yesterday (I could access your site via proxy only). The layout is great and there are some excellent wallpapers. Best of luck, Daniel
