in due time I believe they will be as valuable as any other domain name that is searched a lot
... better question should be, someone tell me WHY .co.uk or .us WON'T be valuable.

In my case, I think the .us applies to the extension (3dhome.us, 3dvacations.us, 3deducation.us, 3dcollege.us...etc)
