Hello DP members, This really bothers me a lot because every time I used the browsers, Google Chrome and IE to view my wordpress site, it looks very messy. It is damaged and in fact my posts don't appear in my site. But when I am going to use Mozilla Firefox, it looks very good and everything seems to be normal. Please help me guys in solving this problem of mine. I really wanted to put the link of my site here but I am not yet allowed to do so. I really look forward to hearing from you guys. Respectfully yours, magiclouie
Thank you juhasan for your suggestion. Aside from changing the current theme, are there any other solutions that I could do to address this problem of mine? Once more, thanks a lot!
Hi addlinkurl, actually the owner of this blog is my client. Unfortunately, I am not yet allowed to put any link, so I thought of giving you this format, marketsuccessmentors dot com The name of the theme is wp_christmas_v1.1 and it is designed by instantshift Thanks in advance!
I think it is a problem from your browser. try to make google chrome check your return. It is only advice from me.
Thanks Andy Lim, I was wondering if you could elaborate this further? Are there steps to be followed? If so, tell me please. More power to you.
please try this: open index.php and sidebar.php and try to find this code: then find delete the codes between these 2 lines(also delete these lines). if you can not find the codes, look at the source of the homepage while using firefox. you will see the codes in green color. these codes are wrong. firefox fixes wrong codes itself but chrome and ie do not do it.
Hi addlinkurl, it really works. You are simply the best. I really don't know how to thank you. I am really giving you my 2 thumbs up. More power to you.
The posts are now showing. The only problem left is that there are something like icons in the left portion of the site and in the header as well when using Google chrome.
this is a modified version of christmas theme. the person who edited the theme, deleted the images but i think he forgot to delete the image codes in files. open header.php and find and delete the codes between these codes and also these codes.
Once more addlinkurl, thank you so much. Those funny things are already gone. I really owe you a lot. From the bottom of my heart, I really want to extend my warmest thanks and appreciations for helping me.
I am working on a friends blog who uses Thesis and I can not find the folders you have described.Where would I look in a Thesis theme to correct this issue? I would very much appreciate your help! Susan
Can you maybe take a look at this blog and tell me what code needs to be removed? I tried what you said and don`t see what needs so come out? It displays properly in Firefox but not in IE or Chrome. The sidebars run together.... www.wendymoore.net Thanks
I guess this is why it is so important to check your code in W3C to see if your theme is compatible to all platforms of browsers.
