Paypal Not Accepting valid PAN Card Number

if it not works is there any other problem to face, I am still waiting to submit it, I am doubt about it if it rejects then what is the next step will be taken if problem comes.

 

I guess the name should be exact that appears on the Pan card. I am also having issues with it because my pan card ws made after marriage and thus last name changed. Any idea hoe to fix this issue ?

Did anyone managed to get their pan registered which was being rejected at login..
Contacted paypal several times,all of them give a copy paste answer

 

I can confirm that the problem is still there. I input my perfectly valid PAN number in Paypal and it said error. This happened today Saturday 03.20.2010. So pretty sure Paypal hasnt fixed it yet.

pls check if the name is exactly the same as on the card.

 

I have same problem but Now I have successfully added pan card.

Problem is this: If you have different name on both PayPal and pancard so it gives error.

In my case I have different last name so I decided to change last name in PayPal account and it's successfully changes within 3 days.

So i suggested if any have same issue like me change your last name in PayPal account

During singnup I have written my last name Verma and now I have to add pan card on that last name is Kumar So I can't add that

After few hours they email me that they can change my last Name and I have to Fax them a copy of pan card and a written request to change last name you have to write in word file and fax them to this number 402-537-5732.

If any one need written request I can show you

And within 48 hours Mine last name change and I have successfully added mine pancard

It's not so tough to change last name

You have to contact them via email support or your wish call them too. but i prefer email as on call they put me on hold

Sorry dear but why I have to change my pan card last name I am paying tax from last 5 year and for paypal I have to change last name why i don't think so it's right.

From last 23 year I am using only Kumar as mine last name, on every document passport, bank accounts , Voter card, driving license so it's better to change last name in paypal

You said that you have been tax for last 5 yrs for paypal, My question is that do you just include the income from business and the IE code or do you file them under FEMA or something else.

 

I got my PAN 2 years ago and it was accepted.

 

My pan card is accepted by them I think your name should match with the paypal name too

No you can't one card accepted in only one account

Previously I had the same problem and paypal used to reject my valid PAN. But I tried once again now and it worked fine. It accepted it at one go. SO seems like the issue is resolved now. So it is woth to try out once again and see if it works!

 

Same here .. I tried to add my PAN several times last week with no success. I actually gave up and was contemplating on getting new PAN.
But surprisingly yesterday my PAN was successfully added to my paypal account. May be paypal has fixed their retarded algorithm.
