I believe this could be people from china. The chinese have exact clones of everything from twitter, facebook. You name it, its there without any legal trouble for the developers.

They even have the "page protected by copyscape - Do not Copy" logo at the bottom of the page! Crazy....

The whois information on those domains comes back to people from the US. Two of the domains are registered the same person.

The sites are slightly different then the E4E original site. They could be run by E4E but I don't know?

Shouldn't be too much trouble to get a take down as server hosted @ Xlhost.com and registrar is WorldNic.com. Interesting collection of sites (1215) sitting on their server 209.51.196.254

That means the website owner will get 100% commission by using the services of paypal. Its really a big blow to E4E team.

I have not really seen people openly copying whole of such websites before without any fear & even advertising them on Adwords. I think this is something serious that has to be dealt with strictly in order to discourage other future wannabe copycats. As getjimmy said, this can occur to all the digital products. Even though I'm not personally making sales for E4E now, but I'd still be interested in hearing something from lord swerd

yep..sent Swerd a PM 2 days ago, nothing heard back. If this is left unchecked then any vendor with a popular product could be the next target. This current campaign is well put together, using free AW vouchers & throwaway domains. Contacting Google would be useless IMO, as they're basically retards (IMO :)) that take months to investigate fraud, if ever, (but only days to penalise legitimate advertisers) so best bet would be to either freeze their PayPal account or take down their hosting or domain registration. Or all 3 preferably.

I noticed the last reply was like three years ago but the site is still available! Does anybody know if google or some authority has taken action on them? I really feel sorry for E4E because I'm a vendor in health product niche myself.

    Thanks for posting this thread.

I have been battling "hihtv" for a bit over a year now... Looks like a few more DMCA's are to be sent out.

They just keep starting new sites, they will run out of hosts eventually!

    thanks,

    Drew

What proof does paypal need to close down their accounts? What kind of response have you got from paypal?
