Did you read the Rules You can't vote for yourself, we have also had Member of the Year Nominations / Voting every year since 2007.

 

Just a quick question, why are we nominating now, shouldn't it be nearer to the end of the year?

 

This is the way we have done this in the past. The reason behind this is we end nominations like the end of May / First of June that gives people time to think of who to nominate and then it gives an equal or same amount of time for a person to vote for their favorite member out of the nominations
