How does one get unbanned after a year?

I have a friend that was banned over a year ago for updating a thread to much and would like to get his account reactivated. I sent a PM to shawn with no response, so if one would like to get his ban lifted how would you go about doing so?

 

He needs to Pm all the members and say i'm sorry for updating my thread to much and then ask for forgiveness from the lord.. But seriously, i don't know bro.. I often wondered how long people are banned for? Is he banned permanently? A year is pretty long..

 

I think it is the one type of rule in DP.

 

And how come he wasn't unbanned automatically ? I thought The longest ban one can get here or on any established forums is 6 Months .

 

he will be unbanned automatically unless its a permenant ban

 

No need to worry he will get unbanned once the infraction period ends.

Wow 269 year ban, crazy. Does that mean your descendants aren't allowed to register?

Yeah I think they would be smart to make it easier for people to learn their lessons and come back, but they don't. That's why I started my site to help people starting out learn their way around before they run into problems. If people just read the rules and use common sense they wouldn't get banned most of the time, and for those who get banned who are trying really hard, make an effort to learn and improve, well I don't think DP has anything for those people, yet.
