It would also be great to know some additional statistics like the number of unique visitors per month along with the number of pageviews or perhaps knowing the resources necessary to keep the site running (how many dedicated servers if more than one for example)

Last but not least, I would like to know the sources of traffic for your audience, do they come from google, referred from other sites and so on.

I have a large project called Channel Fuse that me and 2 other partners are starting. It's a well funded and ambitious project that is going to require my complete attention.

Traffic is huge and still growing monthly 10-20% month over month.

The site ranks in Google for literally thousands of keywords including many #1 positions. Complete analytics will be available only to serious bidders.

Site is currently hosted on 3 self-managed servers. One MySQL server, one image server, and one http/dns/firewall server. Bandwidth is about 1tb a month or less depending on how many DDOS attacks I deal with. Hosting costs are about $400 a month but any buyer will probably need to pay more unless they are able to self-manage as I do. Part of why I have to sell as being sysadmin has been time consuming.

 

Yes, DDoS are boring, tiring and costly. Also had to deal with some severe ones over the last months.

Also see that some people in your forum seem to take pride in making your life really hard over there, I like your site but it's going to be an headache for anyone who steps after you.

Which sources of revenue are currently used at your site, adsense is ruled out but I don't see any other advertisements in either case, is the site sustainable on it's own?

The fact that the traffic is growing at a high rate will also make administration a whole more costly.

 

I thought this website was already sold awhile ago? I remember this was already once posted on DP. So the buyer didn't follow though....I'm guessing?

Not without major changes. Google Adsense doesn't allow "hacker related" content. But the bulk of site income is not from ads. It's directly from members paid subscriptions.

Correct the site was sold but sale was never completed. It was in escrow for a long time and when we attempted to finalize the deal things didn't go as planned. We are still negotiating but I am now looking into new buyers. The site never officially changed hands.

 

I realize we have had some conflicts in the past but hostility won't help either of us. And you would be surprised at what I know.

Right so the site seems authentic enough and from what I have learned after a bit of snooping around is that the site seems to hold out on what you have stated.
Now here is the tricky part, if the site is such a money grabber why would you want to let go of such a money maker? Also I am not doubting the revenue or the monthly visitors to your site (which are really impressive by the way) but posting a screen shot from Google Analytics would really help you to hold out on your own. And maybe would even convince more serious potential buyers to come to your site and get you your required amount.

the seller looks like kidding, for many days it displays that for sale and now he is saying not for sale.
i think he was just trying to fool the innocent users.
