probably because they feel scammed..usually, the members area has some pictures and links to free software I am expecting a software and get a link to a free software..I would feel that way!
I'm also interested in the conversions of people promoting game copying products because I find them to be converting poorly.
Gamecopywizard Average refund rate for the month of Dec - 12% , Jan - 12% and Feb - 13% This is considered low for a product in clickbank. Some affiliates have higher refund rate and some have less.
I agree stop bashing the product on a public forum, if you have concens you can contact the vendor first. NOT COOL! it seems more like a slanderous attempt at someones hard work. All these types of products at clickbank operate on the same PDF like principles and there is no point in bashing a specific one, in addition you all know that you can use the logic in this thread against almost any product on clickbank.
12% refund rate??? I've never seen a CB product with a refund rate so high. The usual refund rate is 3% to 5%
It is too considered too low for this niche .... some of my affiliates have told me that other products in the niche has over 25% refund rate. Between the refund rates for forex products is over 40%
Add another high refund game copying product to the list: Game Copy Monster I've had about 7 total sales and 3 refunds already. The refunds almost always happen the day after the purchase too, so I highly doubt all of these people buy it and just decide they don't want it anymore. My guess is that it also doesn't work as advertised. I normally wouldn't even post something like this, because it could just be bad luck on my end, but I've tried contacting Robert about it and he's not helping out at all. I've asked him if I could see a review copy of the product so I know how to better structure my landing page (this was after I already made sales with it so he knows I'm a serious affiliate and not just trying to get a copy of his product) and he dodges the question. I then asked if he wouldn't mind uploading a video of the product to his affiliate area for me and other affiliates to use on our landing page as proof that the product actually works, and I got an excuse that a video would just "hurt conversions". I honestly don't see how video proof could harm conversions unless of course the product doesn't actually work. After another email, he's stopped responding to me. I like Robert and he seemed like a cool guy, but I had to post this for anyone who was thinking about promoting Game Copy Monster. Until this almost 50% refund rate is fixed and I get some better support, I won't be promoting this either. As a vendor, if you can't even provide an affiliate who is already making you steady sales a review copy, then to me it seems like there's something you're hiding about your product. This is of course what's probably leading to the 50% refund rate. Anyone out there know of a game copying product I can promote that DOESN'T have a high refund rate? I have a few landing pages already setup that are getting decent traffic every day.
Wow, why would someone go through so much effort to discredit a product? And to say that using Clickbank is a good indicator that the product is a scam? Edit: ah, he has a competing website. Makes sense now. That's seriously low tactics though. People really need to check what "scam" and "spam" really mean. They get thrown around like nobody's business and used in completely inaccurate situations. A "scam" is where the product does NOT follow through with its claims, but I'm willing to bet that GCW does, ie it WILL teach you how to copy your games. Surely GCW can petition YouTube to have that video taken down for copyright infringement?
I dont think I am the reason of that..he is just smart enough to cash in and move on..he knows the product is not a winner
did you watch the video? yes that one is a scam in my opinion....is a dwld link to imgburn and they changed the name file, to deceive people thats the reason
Wow I can't believe that guy. He just has a masked domain that forwards to the Game Copy Pro landing page which looks to be almost an identical product to Copy That Game which he is talkin bad about in the video.
Hmmm. Why don't vendors just offer the free burning software - but get people to buy guides on how to burn the games?
Yeah I want to, but I have a domain ranking really well for a good keyword and the page converts extremely well. Like 1:20-30 has been my conversion rate with Game Copy Monster and it's on complete auto-pilot. Even if I find another product with a slightly better refund rate, as long as I'm making something off the site it doesn't bother me as there's no cost in running it. My plan is to flip the site in a month or two when I have more consistent revenue details, so for now all I need is something that sells and won't give me as many refunds as Game Copy Monster does.
