can someone tell me how can i use twitter to generate traffic

i didnt used twitter for traffic ...but i have good follower and i m too following so many guys....but i dont know how can i use twitter to generate the traffic...

Please i will appreciate it if u tell me the basic steps one by one......

You dont not get backlinks from twitter, its a no-follow site..

 

if you have any updates to your sites you can post the link on twitter. All your subpages should also be tweeted so your followers can track your updates.

 

You need to find people who are interested in the services that you're offering, if you bump into those people and get your twitter account in front of their faces then that'll likely lead to traffic. Easier said than done, of course. You can always hire a company to do this work for you.

Hey vijay, thanks for the heads up... sorry was so disturbed with my little kid that I posted in wrong thread.

Basically if you have targetted and got most of the followers from your own niche, then you just have to post your tweets with an amazing title and at appropriate time. You will definately get the desired traffic you are looking for.

 

The only way I know on how I can drive traffic from Twitter is by posting my urls on my tweets so I need to have quite a large numbers of follower otherwise it si not going to work well. Some marketers are saying you need to have minimum of 2000 followers in order to have decent amount of traffic to your site.
