      - How do i check if it is a verified pay pal account which i am making the payment to ?

      - I have linked my Credit card with Paypal ( So how do i make a Payment after that ? )

      - What if he does not give me Script as he has told me or tries to give me explanation for non completion of work and Runs away with money ? will i be able to ask for a refund ? after 15 days ?

      - any more precautions i should take before making the payment... ???

1> When you enter his paypal id and amount and click continue, then on next page you can see if his PP his verified or not, it will show something like this..

    Payment To $12.00 USD

    Non-US Verified Business Member (0)

2>You just send the payment and it will be taken from your CC.

3>You can ask for refund, if he does not send you refund, then just contact your bank and open a dispute, 99% of chance that you will get your money back.

Other advice i can give u is to use some like escrow if your deal is for higher amount, if not then just do not pay him full amount upfront, may be 30-50%, check his reputation, his previous work examples, testimonials from his clients.

he is an Indian Script supplier from Ahmadabad he is not comfortable with any other modes of payments... earlier he wanted me to deposit the money directly into His bank ac. but then he agreed on transacting in Paypal with me.

Ques 2 ) what is the time Limit within which i could ask my Bank to File a Dispute ?

Ques 3) Dre's no previous work, they just have a companies website http://infocuswebdesigning.com/ ( which is not working ) and a sub domain instantrankingseo.com under which they have hosted the script.

Still need a bit more clarity

But thank u for the great Reply Jimmy :)

I think you can open dispute between 45-60 days....

    You should avoid him because...

    He is asking payment upfront.
    No previous work experience
    Website not working

Why don't you hire someone else with some reputation, there are lot of site, Scriptlance is one of the best.

I called up my Bank and they told me that If the Transaction in made ( which is not known to me ) then only they would challenge the seller and put a dispute on the transaction :( or else i will myself have to fight with them.

Rest i was getting an Easy and a Cheap Script ( but they still wanted 15 days to make it Running) that i why i was sticking to them.
I have got numerous number of calls ( from around 10 different land line numbers ) i have saved them all :D

though there website has a good up growing Alexa ranking but no data was available in the way back machine.

now either i pay them through Escrow or a Pdc :) pay pal does not seem to be a great option for the transaction for intangible goods :)

I am sure not sure which bank's CC u use, personally i have opened around 5 disputes till date for similar kind of reasons and each time money was credited to my CC in less than 30 days.

you are safe with pay pal if they dont deliver you have the option to dispute the transanction by going to thev transaction details . and follow the steps. IF the script doesnt work you can ask paypal to help you get what you paid for. as a paypal buyer you are well pretected. disputing the transaction will put the seller or merchant account on hold or frozen by pay pal until get it settled with the merchant . as for cc once link it automatically set it as your payment option . if you need more help just PMme i used to be an ebay power seller so i know all the ins and out of pay pal good luck
