Which method of Link building is good?

I would like to know which method of link building is better and effective. Which link building has a good weight + cost effective + what is the length period for that link to be counted by Search engines.

1) Forum Posting
2) 1 Way Link (Site A to Site B)
3) 2 Way Link Exchange (Site A to Site B and Site B to Site A)
4) 3 Way Link Exchange (Site A to Site B and Site C to Site A)
5) Blog Post
6) Article posting
7) Paid Links or Banners
8) Press Release Links
9) Directory Links
10) Social Bookmarking Links (few i think are Follow)

And please explain as well. It will help for myself and other people too..

All of them are good in their own place.

 

Agree with psharma.

Those techniques were all good and help in different ways. Why not try to do them and just focus on the method that gives you more result.

 

I think posting on high quality forums are better to build links.
when you have post on forums, then post on some article sites like hubpages, personal blog, articlesbase and so on.
link building is a long process.

 

if you want to good link so Paid Links or Banners is best

I prefer 2 methods for quality back links
1) Article Submission
2) Blog Submission

 

All of those are good, you have to diversify and use all of the options available to beat the competition. If you get picky, the competition will leave you behind.
