This is just something that I've been wondering for a while... Why can't women show their nipples in public? My reasoning? Well, men can show their nipples, but women can only show their breast, not the nipples. This law is in most countries in the world (not all), so obviously there must be some other reason, but what?
LoL, hiliarious question. Actually it's not that women can't show their nipples, but a bra was meant to hold their breast in place. And I believe that the bra has kept the nipple hidden all of the time. That's why, somehow... well the more things get hidden, the more you want to see it.

It is a prehistoric matter. Women are hiding their secret body parts for thousands of years, so now its has become a social symbol, if you dont follow it, its a matter of shame for you. that's why they hide them.
i think after a week or 2 it would be no big deal!!! men would be de-sensitized. so ladies if you want men to stop looking at your breast, take off your shirts!!!

No way, if anything, it would bring MORE fashion. Think about it, there will still be millions of women not wanting to expose themselves like that, and the ones that will... That would bring alot more fashion to the world. On the same note, a man is allowed to show his testicles and penis in public, but not the bell end. I'm not particularly interested in that one myself, but it's not just women, so I'm not being sexist or anything.

True. Take a vacation in a place like Greece, where beaches are topless, or Israel, where beaches can be completely nude, and it gets old really quick. Never thought I'd get tired of seeing breasts, but it happened!
Liam mens niples are not legal to be exposed everywhere. I would imagine Islamic Countries would not allow it and I know for sure it is not allowed in Rome. I nearly got arrested for taking my top off in Rome (on the Spanish steps) a few years back and an Italian policeman was about to arrest me until a kind Somali girl explaned to me in English what the officer was going on about.
It's more or less nudity, be it a guy or a girl. The difference remains when you go to the beach. That is almost the only non awkward place for a guy to take off his shirt in presence of something else besides family or very close friends. Besides tits are much better in a bra. That statement might seem crazy to some but it is true. Consider the bra as the hight heels of the women with ugly buts.

I think women should be allowed to go topless just as men do. I live in the US and people here get so wound up about seeing a woman's breasts. It's not like we don't know they are there anyway...
