puting my website on a dedicated server how much benefite in SEO. and does it matter if its a virtual server
I actually think that there's little correlation nowadays because so many businesses are using shared hosting. I used to host a lot of my domains on GoDaddy shared hosting, and I was sharing with 450+ other domains. How in the world could Google really know if they're related especially with anonymous registrations? That being said, if you own 20 domains on a shared hosting service and they are all niche-related, don't do something stupid and create a link-wheel with all of your sites on that host. If you're smart about the shared hosting, I don't think there's any chance of a legitimate penalty unless you do something stupid. JMHO.
Well, having a Dedicated IP would bhe an added advantage for your website. If you go with a Dedicated/Virtual server you have more freedom and security which is indeed required for better website performance but may not help you in SEO. SEO is all about quality backlinks & unique content, on page/offpage optimization.
SEO has nothing to do with a dedicated server ..except that your site will load faster and will have an advantage to Google indexing your pages faster...
