Is it helpful if i make backlinks in the foreign websites?

I just want to know is it useful if i put my backlinks in some japanese or chinese websites? Thanks!!

 

Yes, they are helpful and frankly are the most under-used backlinks available. If you don't speak the language fluently, Google toolbar can translate it for you as a helper.

Yes, they can be beneficial. Just make sure those sites are not link farms and doesn't come from bad neighborhood. Choose to link to/with relevant, quality foreign websites all the time.

 

Back links are just what they are and useful no matter where they are from. However, I am sure they would be screened to see the relevancy to the content on your website.

I think as long as the other language website is relevant by way of topic or content then you can still put your links in those sites and try to gain some backlinks. I also think they are very under-utlized as a form of obtaining backlinks.

Ya, of course it would help. But links from all over the world help in general. But yes, if you want to rank in Japan, get links from other sites in Japan, definitely.

In my experience, you will usually not get many USA visitors if you link from a Chinese site, you will get a lot of Chinese visitors though. I'm not sure if it can even draw some USA visitors away on the expense of Chinese.

 

As long as they are authority sites, go for it.
