Hello, I've accidentally entered my wife's PAN card no. into my PayPal Business account, now there's no way to re-enter or update this information. I've contacted PP, but as expected, i get useless canned messages. Can anyone point me to the right direction? Thanks in advance. -Rajesh

How can you enter yours wife pan card number in your paypal account and How paypal accepted that .. i think name in paypal and name on pan card matched and it accepted , if not paypal will not accept your pan card..
It does verify or else, people would give out fake numbers and not provide their own! Regards, RightMan
I meant it does NOT verify automatically. Maybe they verify it manually, but in my case, they would've found out about the invalid PAN card. -Rajesh
If you can give your and and your wifes name .. i can tell you why .. example : ADXP(personal)X(1st alphabet of your last name)B

Sorry to bump this thread but can we update our PAN card number stating that we made mistake while entering the PAN card number ..? Anyone succeeded in doing this ..? What supporting documents we need to send to paypal to change our PAN number
You will need to fax paypal your PAN card and ID proof and tell them you will need to make the pan change. You cant see PAN in your paypal account as of now and they will implement it next month. just give a call to paypal.
When IVR is asking you to press numbers, keep telling AGENT. I got lucky by doing that. As you are from India, you will talk to an agent first and you will be transferred again to another agent with IVR. I didn't get success with the second IVR. I told the first person that IVR is blocking me and he helped me out.

You can change/update your PAN number without calling them. Go to your profile : https://www.paypal.com/webapps/customerprofile/summary.view you will see your name, email, address etc mentioned there. You can see your PAN no too there (last one) and can change it from there. hope it helps.
Thanks a lot boomer, just wanted to know one thing. They are still verifying my PAN code and I can't change the PAN until they confirm the action. I wanted to know, what they do if PAN information is wrong? Any notification regarding this?
Yeah thats i want to know that will they give another change to update PAN information once you entered wrong information and your account is on limited access?
