Man... when will things get better? Holiday weekend over, but still no improvement. So far I'm down 30% compared to the same few days in August. So now I send a prayer to the Adsense Gods... help! Anyone showing signs of hope? So many variables with adsense...but I just have to vent.
It's still early, give it a little time... this happens every so often. mine fluctuates up to 50% daily.
so far my stats are quite low as well, but I've only been using Adsense for a little over a week now so won't be able to make educated comments until at least promoting Google for about 3 months.
This gives me an idea... if we could all create an calendar that would list the year's worst adsense days of the year, we could use this as a guide and perhaps spend extra time marketing during those dates to compensate. I think it's safe to say Labor Day weekend can be added, and the summer in general.
i see a huge drop as well but that is due to my good paying page taken off googles index. But my other pages that didn't perform that well previously is actually showing some improvement. So... I dunno..
That would only be useful if you were tracking Adsense figures by industry. Kids are going back to school, and people are going back to work. Money tends to be tight for a lot of people at the end of the holidays, so Adsense may be down right now for most sectors. But if you're dealing in school clothes and stationery, this is probably the best time of the year.
I think students like me are back to school and things will soon or later pick up! Otherwise change to high revenue words. good luck
mine dropped off by as much as 50% even, which yeah, really does suck. I make up for all the losses in adsense through textlinkads though, so I'm still a happy camper
What do you mean "by as much". Yeah hello.... if you're comparing individual days with a months average... sure, then will always see huge swings. But is you average 50% down? I find that hard to believe, unless you have 50 visitors/day.
Well, if I actually had anything that showed up in the SERP's for keywords that got traffic I wouldn't know what to do with myself. As it is now, if I want traffic, I have to buy it! Needless to say, I'm not getting rich.
