Anyone else got the email alert after withdrawal (Indian Paypal Users) ??

omg, the thread started in 2006 and still paypal perusing the problems for indians....
i think indian people has the only choice for lower rate transfer by using paypal, so no other way but being stucked with paypal

 

2006? The thread started in Feb 2010, so as paypal issue.

 

I request a Cheque on 16th Feb 2010.

Typical copy-paste answer. Its been a month and I still have not recd the cheque.
I hate to work with PP, but I do not see any other reliable option.

I have given up on getting this money, if it does ever arrive any time during my life time, I will consider it as a bonus.

The PAN card process seems ridiculous. Why can't we simply upload a scanned copy or email it.
Why can they not have an Indian Fax number and route the inward fax to their email address.

I am sure even if someone did send a fax, it will take 2-3 years for their CS team to process that fax and update our account.

Wish someone created a new PP with better customer support.

 

Instead of SO much of trouble.. Wire transfer could have been used? Like MoneyBookers does.

This was when PP was not doing bank transfers.

Not sure if PP has resumed bank transfers since they ask for PAN number which is not accepted on their website.

Just information for all paypal user.If you withdraw on march 10 or after,your money should be bank account on 18 or 19TH march.Since monday,tuesday,wednedday RBI holiday.so NO NEFT transactions those 3 days,

 

but no holiday in my region .
So i suspect that paypal will create problem again .

 

internation holidays are counted. and perheps, saturday and sunday both counted as holiday.

 

ah! They count hols in every house lol...Then paymnt will never arrive

From my experience from other international companies who use IFSC Codes, I can tell that most of you guys who have initiated a bank withdrawal on 10th or 11th of March should most probably see the money in their bank account by Saturday. RBI was closed for holiday on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, 16th March and 17th March ( in some cities/regions - http://rbidocs.rbi.org.in/rbiadmin/scripts/HolidayMatrixDisplay.aspx ). A holiday can delay the process as long as 2 - 3 days. If the fund doesn't arrive by next Saturday, then it's a real concern.

Besides, I am not sure but I have a hunch that RBI has now some kind of mechanism that checks all the transfers before they are released. That too can cause the delay for an extra day.

 

hello, i want to know is this problem for the month march only or all time?
so i can decide whether i should use paypal as my money transfer medium.
if RBI has so much holidays then, is any other indian bank that operate most ?

Quite Strangely, PP is silent about the delay this time! Whats going on. I think its time to give them a nudge again. Don't u think so guys???

Do u think PP care for that! We have to jerk these PPL... if this time the same thing happens, we need to proceed legally.... They cannot fool us all the time...

 

Its defiantly paypal who is a culprit this time as well.
Regional Holidays does not delay NEFT until receiving bank or sender bank is closed.

The Truth is paypal has not given the money to banks yet.The same thing happen in Feb. 2010 and March 2009
