The poster didn't mean a google forum, but to post in popular forums that are crawled often by googlebot. So you need to be active in some forums and use your signature links to help you get new sites indexed.
Write unique articles and put them on Squidoo, Hubpages and Wordpress with your link. You should also submit your site to various social bookmarking sites such as Stumbleupon and Digg. Also ping your site with free services such as http://pingoat.com/ (ignore the important announcement at the top) select all the checkboxes
Link building and social media and use pingler and pingoat to ping your blogs or else with RSS. It helps indexing your site fast.
Good suggestions. Craigslist.org has worked well for me to get indexed, too. Of course, pinging your post @ pingomatic, pingoat, etc helps.
I like to use Digg to submit my sites if they aren't due to get indexed anytime soon... I also use a site called socialmarker.com which allows you to use up to 50 sites- one after the other...it saves a lot of time...
My website gets indexed everyday. I use Google Webmasters to submit my sitemaps. I also use 'Google CSE' to index my pages manually. So far Google indexed 861 pages out of 1401. It really helps since I get some traffic from Google Search everyday.
I am pretty amazed, this thread has been started on 2008 and surprisingly @jewel3000 dig up this thread which was two years old and posted his comment on 15th March. Hey @jewel300 Can I ask you this question, how come you dig up so much old thread ? BTW to get indexed in google "quickly" - you cannot, until you have a blog on blogspot which is one of the service of google.
the social bookmarking websites link god indexed in hours but the direct links from website still takes time.. any quick help in this regard
Use the URL you wish to get indexed in an Adwords ad and go live with it. Google will index it almost instantly! It's worked for me several times although admittedly I haven't tried it for a couple of years! Otherwise yeah, Digg it!
