    API keys basically allow to use the service provided by wordpress specially the anti spam system

    You get one from opening a Wordpress.com blog. You will need the key to activate Akismet, but I'm not sure what else it's used for.

    Go to wordpress.com and open a new account in there. You will get an email and you can find your wordpress apikey in bottom of the email.
