Contest $50 Logo for my company who will be mainly doing eCommerce business !

Banners are not the same as logo's.
And if you're not a d*** designer you will get the source in sites in which the owner is the one distributing it for everyone to use.
e.x. PlanetRenders, GameRenders, etc.

 

I guess if you can prove an image isn't an editorial or royalty free image then that's a fair argument. Except people don't usually sell banners as their own artwork and so it's not as misleading. Selling a logo you didn't create could mean the CH gets sued and all because you wanna make a quick buck. I'm not trying to judge you but it's irresponsible and you know it.

 

You should just stop now before you humiliate yourself any worse.
You don't know what Fair use is. You don't know the difference between Stock photo and Public pictures.
You don't know what Copyright is. If all these simply things elude you, perhaps you shouldn't be making any works for people.

Flags aren't usually copyright (except for Scotland, I may be wrong) because they're too abstract. Also, it's impossible to copyright/trademark a star (or any other generic shape). And with regard to the car it's an editorial image and therefore highly unlikely to cause and trouble. You're going to lose this argument, I got busted for trademark infringement years ago and it's safe to say I know what I'm talking about...

Prove us wrong. Disprove what I have said. Show me the literature you have on copyright/trademark laws and I would be happy to listen... I hate being ignorant and I need your guidance.

Regarding this whole fiasco:
Copyright laws should be common knowledge for anyone who submits work here. That was my only point in posting the comment I made. Please give Sudhiros respect by posting submissions and taking your disagreements elsewhere.

Dseer, i saw those pages a long back while looking for a logo, i could have easily adopted them, i do not like to hijack or steel others hard work so i came here, but i think every one is in a hurry to make a fast buck . . c'mon guys give me something unique

 

Nice but the shopping cart is too old style to talk about ecommerce, i would avoid the black color, still not something which can make me "wow!!"

You need not necessarily use both or either of them, i sent a wikipedia link about what Trishul is , its a kind of weapon used in ancient times in india in battles, it symbolize power in recent terms.

Rat is basically is dear to Maa Karni, you can google karni mata and can find association with rat and maa karni,

Khnfrhn : i saw this on net a long long before, it was too good representing a trishul that i almost adopted it, but than its not something i paid for or i m authorised to used for. . so i landed here . . .so please if at all you want to modify it . . please do it so that it cant be directly related to something which someone else has created a long back

 

Guys . . Copyright or not. . . its no ethical to use someone else design in much similar way without asking the original owner . . . . i will be using it for my company identity . . .and wudnt want some one to sue me in later future for stealing their work
