who are the "myspace superstars"

This is funny, I've been off myspace for over a year, but now people are posting on various boards about "myspace superstars"....so who are they and what's their claim to fame...1/2 million friends or other virtues?

thanks ahkip, yes, I remember Tom as my first friend there also...I guess he is gold standard.

now there is a limit of 500 new friends a day I think, so it would take almost three years to get to 1/2 a million friends

Yeah, Tila is the most popular. Met her a few times back in the import car show days.

 

A few bands like Taking Back Sunday and Fall Out Boy have over a million friends too. But other than supermodels, popular bands, and Tom's sneaky trick of adding himself as everyone's friend, I'm not sure who else is there.
