I've been using Adsense for just over a year but I've just signed up for Adwords recently and I have a question.

I have a video game site and I'm trying to drive more traffic to it via AdWords. When I use the "keyword targeted" option and I include some really good keywords, I get very, very little impressions and no clicks. When I try "site targeted" I can't choose a CPC any lower than 30 cents. What's the secret? I can't afford a 30 cent CPC and the 0-10k visitors a day sites won't accept any less. I've tried tons of keywords for keyword targeting at 5 cent CPC and no luck.

Is there a good guide out there on how to make a return on your investment? And not one of those cheesy books out to get your money.

    Thanks a lot!

You are not obtaining a positive ROI? Try the following:

    - Give a higher Bid to the high relevant keywords compared to others
    - Consider not participating of Content Network/Search Partner Network for while
    - Restrict your targeting area for a very relevant are (US only ) for example.

As soon you have a positive ROI you can consider returning to Content network and increasing again to the other country areas again.
