    Hello all;
    I just wonder if there any method to collect mailing list using facebook ads.
    I tried a few times but it happen that, I was actually breaking the rules.
    Is there any way to manipulate the rules?

    Or is there any method to actually do that?

    Thanks, your answer is really helping.

    Hey there,

    If I were you then I would send people instead to a Fan Page!

    Fan Pages, IMO, are better then mailing list...

    • You can connect better with the List of people
    • You can contact them 10 times a day or even more if you want and they
      will love it (but trying emailing them more than once a day and watch have fast
      they unsubscribe
    • Facebook will definitely allow this!
    • Then on your Fan Page you can setup a Special Tab that is a Squeeze Page by
    • using FBML or a simple Iframe!

    I hope this helps...

    Great suggestion Kevin, I'm about to say the same. Creating a fan page is way more better than mailing system, this it will help to improve your reputation towards other facebook subscribers and at the same time increase your sales or leads.

    You know I see where you're coming from with this but I'm going to have to politely disagree. With a Fanpage you're given the ability to update a few times, but it's a really static form of marketing. With email you can follow up on people even when they're not using Facebook. You're given a direct line of communication with your leads and a laser targeted pool of potential converts. And the great thing about email lists is that Facebook can never ban them ;)
