I've spent the last couple days browsing all the topics here, especially those related to traffic building. I'm 8 months into building a blog and I'm in it for the long run. Right now I average 102 visitors per day. To those who this pertains to, how long did it take you to reach 1000+ daily visitors? What were some of the most effective methods you used to do this? Was it a natural progression or was there a sudden spike at some point?
In my experience, things seem to happen via natural progression. Concentrate on quality. Become a resource. Of course, these days, even with quality, you still have to market yourself. If you have insight on a unique subject, stop by and submit an article with backlinks pointing to your blog...nice text links using niche keywords. Don't forget when you have sufficient days and posts here, put a text link in your forum signature like I have. Google loves this forum.
I say things happen via slow progression, but place a link in the right spot and you can see the traffic you are talking about overnight.
I'll let you know when I found out but I can attest to the fact that having a link here will do wonders and set you well on your way.
my goal is only 100 visitors per day ,because currently my site has only 40-50 visitors. any suggestion ?
As mentioned above, concentrate on your quality and uniqueness and you will reap the benefits. If you work hard in right direction 1000 uniques in 4 months is quite achievable, for some super abled people even 1 month is enough when they ave right amount of resources links , time and brain in place.
It took me a year on one site and on another I was able to reach over 1000 in several weeks. So it also depends on your content and if your targeting the right audience towards you internet marketing efforts. Hope this helps, Artemis
