What is Angela's Backlink Method?

Its another spammy method of so called "SEO". Real SEO require no off-site activity, you just need to THINK lol

 

I've been a member of Angela's and paul's backlink packets for awhile. To be honest, it didn't really do much for me. It's hyped up and not all of the "backlinks" get indexed. The thing i don't like is that if you don't spend at least 5-10 minutes building each profile (you need to take your time and make it look as authentic as possible) your new made profile will probably be banned within 48 hours.

I would suggest finding another way to build backlinks. This particular profile building method is saturated and morally gray. Don't be sold on the "build backlinks on high PR website" baloney. It's not true. PR is the page rank of the PAGE not the website as a whole. It's possible to have a website with a low PR homepage, but a super high Contact Us page for example. It's mostly based of the amount of do-follow backlinks a page has to itself.

Some of the websites WILL give you backlinks. However, the amount of time you'll invest in building the profiiles (only to have 50% of them banned within a few days) is NOT worth it.

 

I can't believe some people are still buying into this myth. Inbound links can never harm you, or webmasters would be doing this to their competition. It would only hurt you if you linked back, or engaged in some kind of linking scheme with these sites.

My opinion: these kinds of links will do very little if any help, but they will not harm you. It's kind of like these forum signature links. It would probably take thousands to equal one decent and relevant link elsewhere.

 

I use angle and paul backlink with combination of directory submission and social bookmarking. As a result my website has PR4 now. I know angela suggest up to 3 url in the profile page, but I only use one for safety.

$5 per month is good investment for 30 high PR sites that usually they are at least PR6.
From these 30 sites, some of them will not work because the webmaster manually approve new registration or remove the profile page.

 

Well said. I don't know why people always think crappy links can hurt. If taken to the next logical step, it's easy to see why google cannot rely on them as a source of penalties.

 

What's funny is that what angela doesn't tell you is that she achieved her high ranking for the term 'backlinks' by getting a backlink on a high pagerank PAGE with hardly any other outbound links. Her pr0 'profile' links didn't help her at all.

 

Nice to see someone knows what they are talking about... Having a link on an inner page of a high PR site (i.e. a site w/ a high PR home page) does nothing special for your rankings. It's the PR of the PAGE on which your link exists that matters, not the PR of the home page. And more backlinks do NOT necessarily mean better rankings. A bunch of backlins w/ "click here" as the link text do NOTHING for your rankings, unless of course you want to rank for "Click Here". It's not so much about the number of links as the linktext used and the PR of the page where your link lives. And profile pages on such sites 1) rarely are high PR pages and 2) VERY, VERY rarely let you chose the link text. Typically the URL of your site's home page ends up being the link text.

A site with no existing quality links can easily be penalised. So really you can't hurt your competition if they have already developed a strong link profile. But if the competition is a new website or a website with no quality links it would be possible for someone else to get it penalised.

It's all about trust - once Google trusts you, you're OK. Otherwise if you start building crappy links from the outset you're asking for trouble.

 

Angela's backlinks are high PR profile backlinks. We can also serch such type profiles.

Just don't spam it. A lot of forums have caught on and do mass profile deletions.

Yeah it was a link Scheme that flourished for a short period of time, but like any scheme it has to come to an end.. Its probably best they take what they have earned and close up shop. But back in December I had a client ask me if I did this service and I had no idea what they were talking about.. They did pretty good at the time from it but im guessing by now most of those links are gone.

Actually Jack you can harm yourself but not your competitors for some very simple reasons.

1. Google is a database driven site and collects mounds of information about each and every site.

2. Google uses empirical & historical data to determine which sites take steps to try and enhance their rankings. So if you tried to build spam links to say one of my three year old sites it would do no good because over those three years my site has never engaged in spam link building practices.

Hence the links would simply be devalued.

Now if I built a new site and constantly built crap links like Angelos & Rupauls then it is easy for Google to filter the site to SERPs where nobody will find the site.

 

Normally, she used to sell the packets which contains details on how to build backlinks under high PR domains. Actually, that way of link building really helps a lot in approving SERP on Google. For an example, Say 'www.abc.com' is a site with PR 6, So, she explains, on how you can get a backlink from there, that may be creating an account and update your profile or via leaving a comment on the site's blogs area.
