Surprised that so many directories don't list terms for their Featured Links

It seems lately that 60-70 percent of the directories I have visited don't list the "term" that their feature links are for, they simply put a price. I would have signed up for quite a few if I could figure out how much they cost.

Are you trying to trick me?

Normally the standard for feature links is price for year.
The only thing most of directories don’t say is what happens after the year do they deleted the link or pass it to regular.
But most of then will not be alive in 1 year so that is not a problem :D

I dont think so. Most of the directories are using free php links directory script. And many of us dont know the basics of html or how to edit the submit.tpl file. The default version doesn't have the option to show the term(month/year) on the submit page. That's why....

I whole heartedly agree with your decision.

Now the thing is, if you choose a featured and then come to the point where you see it is for (laffz)25/mo(/laffz) and you cancel, it will look like a tricked submission.

So because of that, I don't bother most times. Only one time did I decide to submit, and seen such a ridiculous price, so I returned to the thread and notified the OP. Didn't even bother submitting a free regular because of it too. I don't like to those skiddish types of submissions.
