would you mind reviewing my site

    Hello friends,
I got a web design/seo related site ( businessprodesigns.com). It used to rank pretty well in google.com. google.ie and google.co.uk (used to rank 2nd,3rd in competitive keywords like website designs, website designers, custom website designs). But for some unknown reasons it has recently experienced a very significant drop in the rankings. I couldn't figure out any particular reason behind such a fall.
It would be a real help for me, if you could visit my site once and cite me the flaws and loop holes (if you think there are some) that are needed to be repaired.
    Thanking you in advance,
    Roomz

Guys and Gals, there is more to SEO than link building. A lot of you here seem to think that link building is an answer to every problem. It is certanly a component of SEO, but not the almighty tool that you make it out to be. For you roomz I have two words: duplicate content. It seem like you have duplicate/template content on some of your pages. Look into developing original content for all of your pages.

Now thats really absurd..'coz all the contents in my site were written by me only.. So the duplicate content issue is out the sight. But after your reply I performed a check and found out that there are some sites who have copied some contents from my site.. could this be a factor?

It absolutely can be. Search engines have no idea who wrote it. They just see the repetition out there. And they don't like, especially Google.

IMO, Google algorithm knows date/time of articles they cached in every site so they know which is the original one since whenever you are updating your site, the content you uploaded attached with a lastmodified date/time unless the server turns it off.

I don't think that's a fool proof way of looking at it. I wouldn't count on that as a way of addressing redundancy.
