PayPal Ask Us to Give PAN NUMBER

have called paypal's USA number, spoke with a mexican guy for abt 30 mins, he told that paypal servers are under maintanence and that is the reason why it is not accepting the pan card number even though it is correct, try entering the number after 10 hours, it should work i hope

 

It takes normally 8 days to get PAN card after applying for it.

 

It is working perfect, I justed added 1.5 hours ago.

 

Adding pan card to paypal account would put all of us in the notice of income tax department

 

It seems both, the RBI and the IT Department, are running behind us....

 

There should be similarity in the name used in Pan Card and in your Paypal account. I too have come across same problem but when I used my personal Pan Card, I got logged in.

 

but why mobile number is required whe Paypal asks for PAN number?

 

It happened the same for me, it wont accept my company PAN # but my personal # is accepted, i do not know if this is right way to do as i have a paypal business account and withdraw amounts to my business bank account only!

 

but i successfully added my pan no and its working fine.

 

I think you can apply for PAN card online as well

I think, RBI put restriction on paypal, that why it ask for PAN no., may be we have to pay tax on each transaction

 

yups added my pan without any problems..

 

i added Pan card with no issues.. just 10 sec work for those who have pan card or else you have to apply for pan card..It will take just 10 days to arrive..

 

It only ask for those users who didn't added Mobile numbers with PayPal account. I have my mobile number with them since 2008 and I didn't get that option today when I logged in, they just asked PAN Number.

I heard from April 1st, no payments with out pan is allowed in India.

So I dont have pan. Can I add additional owner as my mother and add her pan?

Is there any problem? Or can I add pan with out adding her as additional ower?

Click "Help" menu on top of the website and from there you can go to "My Account". This is in case you don't have Pan Card or getting Pop-up from paypal regarding error.

 

Yes PAN is to track the amount we withdrawn to our bank accounts and also we don;t to bother about each transaction, we have to pay the tax only if we cross the limit of Rs.1,60,000 and also we can show tax exemptions upto Rs.1,00,000 extra.

Yes for me also it asked only PAN number, i already entered mobile no. long back. It is a positive move from paypal to request for PAN. Our accounts are more secure.

 

Yeah I got the same message today morning and I entered my mobile number and PAN card number and it enters fine without any problem.
