can i withdraw 4K USD in one shot?

Well, thats what i wanted to ask :) I've got a premier account, already withdrew 2K USD this month ..Anyone tried such big amount??

Will my bank ( ICICI ) accepts or rejects? I withdrew more than 60,000 INR ( 1500 USD ) in one shot last month ... so under 50K INR per transaction is out of question :)

There is no harm in withdrawing large amounts... it is just that you got to be ready to produce the supporting documents of your income as and when called for... by Indian authorities!

I heard that if you transact more then 50K INR in one go in your bank account then as per RBI's guideline bank needs to send that details to RBI.

    DON.

If you have your PAN card added in your account then there won't be any problem.
You will just receive a call from ICICI regarding it. :)
Some guys even withdraw more than 10lacs in one go.

I had withdrawn larger amounts and even recently on 4th Mar, the amount is credited to my bank account no issues...

If you are bringing into books(i mean tax payer) then do not worry about it, just withdraw...

Well if its premier account, then there is no harm or limit of amounts per transactions. You can withdraw as much as you want provided you have required documents to be submitted to authorities.

    Thanks

No problem but you will end up being noted by RBI officials. Now that you enter your PAN card details in Paypal RBI will have a closer look on all your transactions

if you're verified there is no limit.. but don't withdraw full amount leave at-least $50 in your paypal. then paypal doesn't get a chance to limit your account.

Well for your kind information, RBI always have our details due to Pan Card attached with our bank accounts! Nothing new.

I did once 4k USD with no issues at all.
I did it on November and got money in just 3 days also to my SBI.

But I was a stupid to do that. DANG! :(

Never withdraw more than 49k INR.
