My Terrible Experience with CanHost.us (Worst Hosting Company)

    warning everyone please don't use canhost.us , as they are scammers.

    i purchase this remote desktop account , and i asked if i can use torrents download and use utorrent on the server , they said it is OK.
    after i got the account (which took almost a day to be created even though their sales guy on msn was online all that period online) they said u cant use utorrent using the webinerface ???!!!!! , i was surprised because i don't want to host websites , but at least i can use the web interface for utorrent.
    after that i told them i want a refund , as they claim they have 30 days money back guarantee no questions asked , they refused ??!!!!
    so please anyone considering buying any service from canhost.us please don't they are the worst , and they just take ur money and disappear till u become desperate and stop asking for your money

    Then they said they will refund me my money after 7 days and that`s today. now their guy says either i remove my posts here and also remove the itrader , or i will not get a refund.
    These people are scammers as they force you to say they are excellent to get your money back , then how will others will know how bad this company is , and how we will protect other people here from getting scammed by those people.

    RDP is not used for anykind of web hosting, no web interface can be used on RDP. It stands for REMOTE DESKTOP PROTOCOL which is only used to run softwares as you do on ur computer desktop. The diffrence is just, you have a virtual desktop.

    As per TOS, RDP is not covered under moneyback warranty. Please read our TOS carefully. http://www.canhost.us/company/terms.php

    There fore, clear urself before posting such biased thread.... However this kind of thread is not allowed at DP.

    I have had a bad experience with Can host/ magicworld . he scammed me and my friend off 80$ , I'm warning everyone, DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AT ALL , not even webhosting!

    and I have all of your PM's that proves you're a ****in scammer, and when the RDP's went down , you didn't even bother to give us our money back . I REPEAT DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM HIM

    Like he said, his T&C don't cover refunds if you ordered RDP.

    It's your fault for using a host with such a terrible clause in their T&C. Whatever you do, don't remove your feedback though. Let others know what they're like, and pursue a refund through a paypal claim, assuming you paid via paypal. They can't hold you to ransom like this, it's not ethical and people deserve to know.

    Man my problem was never like kotomoto's , I didn't try to host sites or anything, The support was crap,the speed was crap, and after using the RDP for 2 weeks it went down and he never refunded my money or replaced the service, he even Ignored all of my Pm's on DP here, But I reported his Paypal address as a web fraud to the Ic3 :D

    Same thing though, you had an RDP account and according to him his T&C don't give any guarantees of refunds regarding RDP. Why you'd choose a host with that clause (which pretty much says they don't expect it to be any good) is beyond me.

    If he tries to, don't let him blackmail you. If you gave him bad feedback then let it stand. :)

    thanks rockstarw for participation , although i dont know you before , but i made this topic to warn people and members here from dealing with this guy or his company.

    WG47: unfortunately i paid using moneybookers not paypal , so i cant make a dispute like that on paypal , but as you said , i told that guy i wont remove my itrader and posts in order to get my money back , because people have to know the truth , these people in canhost.us are unprofessional , they dont know what is written in their own Terms and Conditions.

    Anyway i`m inviting other members with any experience either good or bad to share with us here.

    Glad to hear you're sticking to your guns. These bad hosts need to be weeded out. Too many people are interested only in the money, not in providing a good service.

    Dear All,

    The problem of KOJOMOTO is not practical. He bought RDP account only. Which cannot have web interface with it. We no where promised him about web interface. His requirements are not practical. No refunds can be given in such circumstances.

    I also had a bad experience with this "hosting" company, totally crap, not recommended. Took them more than a week to set something up that I didn't even order.

    Yes we offer free replacement of RDP. If you have faced issues, open a ticket on www.canhost.us/support/ticket.php asking replacement of RDP. Please mention the username and ip of your old RDP which has gone bad.

    Dude, I don't need anything from you any more, I have lost alot of my business cause of you and your hosting company, I run my OWN RDP server now, You can keep the freaking money, because that's what you only looking for . Your support is total crap, I'm pretty sure it will take them another 2 months to get me my RDP , But hell no , I don't want any of the newbies or Innocent DP's buyers to fell in your trap and get scammed.

    Of course it's practical. You offer RDP accounts. You have no problems with him using utorrent. Utorrent has a built in web server. Doesn't need apache, php, sql installed. Totally standalone. I don't see why you'd have a problem with that.

    After posting my previous complaint magicworld11 immediately contacted me saying everything would be fixed asap and my billing period would be renewed. However, nothing is fixed and I got my first advance billing

    what a joke :)

    the problem now that i am facing beside not getting my money back from that person , is that digitalpoint staff gave me infractions points , how is that , i do not know what to do so that they get the image of what we suffered from that member , and that this topic is to protect other members from being screwed by that person

    If you need a good RDP, try iWeb.com. Great service, excellent pricing and amazing customer support! They do screw up billing now and then but that can be fixed with a simple email saying just - "??" :D

    I'm not going to get into anything big here but CanHost.us is bad. I just bought there hosting and I'm already disappointed with there services & want a refund. It is shit and now he is telling me I have to wait up to 21 days to get a refund. Ha.
