How to set x amount of posts before viewing other topics [vbulletin]

    How do u make certain sections blocked until a certain amount of posts

    like you need 15 posts before you can enter this forum section?

    Create a new usergroup for new members (with under 15 post)...setup restrictions on that usergroup...and then setup an usergroup promotion to a non restricted usergroup :)

    yea i did that, i made a dummy account to test it and it still wouldnt show after 15 posts. i dont know what i did wrong:confused:

    Hmm....the usergroup promotion is a scheduled task so that happens like once every hour (or something) so there is a time lag. Have you set the previledged group as the main usergroup for these promoted users?

    Can you share how do you make the setting? I only knew how to restrict the user to post signature file before X no of posts...
