    Hi,

I currently have 4 articles posted on 9 different article directory sites. These are the most ranked/popular and I see my articles on google when I enter in my URL.

There are lots of other article directory sites that I can post to however, since they are not popular should I be posting them there if no one reads the articles?

Also, how do you properly create a backlink so that google crawls the site and indexes my website. I've been putting an anchor link in the resource box, and author bio, but a lot of article directory sites will not let you put links in the article body.

So, 4 articles on 9 different article directory sites, made a Squidoo page, facebook page, used ping o matic, submitted my sitemap to google, but still not indexed.... sandbox effect? or do I need to be patient (started the blog at blogger 2/22/10)

I never have any blog with blogger and therefore, i am not sure about the setting. Btw, please double check if the setting is correct and make sure that your blog set to be visible to everyone, including search engines. Social bookmarking and authority links will help.

    Hi NP,

In my experience, article directory backlinks have virtually no value, SERP-wise.

You need volume in your backlinks and the kind of oomph you are looking for comes from quality backlink volume from forum profiles.

can you explain that a bit more because most forum profile pages have no PR at all. I can see the signature links can have some good backlink value to du the pages might have a PR but the profile pages? do they get so much juice from the main PR of the forum?
    thank you
