Dreamhost su*ks bigtime, they have a pretty strange policy for some extremely popular wordpress plugins like "All in one seo" and they don't allow you to use it on your wp setup. They call it Blackhat or somthing, WTF!!

Be Careful. They really su*k. I just register domain with them with this promotion, and enter credit card ( you need to use it since it was promotion ) and till the end, I could not find any textbox to enter the promo coupon.

When contact, they said if you could not see the textbox to input coupon, it means the promotion is not valid in your country.

Dreamhost is su*ks a big loser. Return back my money !!!

I've been with Dreamhost for awhile now and I haven't had issues with them regarding support or the servers.

Bad reviews only get publicity because the few that have a bad experience always whine and have huge fits. Usually it is the users fault for not being aware of the rules and breaking them, abusing the servers, massive traffic on a cheap hosting plan, things like that. I have been with DreamHost for quite some time. I have 10 sites with them, and I get about 2500 UV/mo and 10,000+ pageviews each month, all sites combined. I'm nearing the peak of what shared hosting is meant for. I realize that I need to invest more money to support my growing websites which is why I am looking at VPS systems.

It's difficult to recall 100%, but I'm pretty sure that phone verification is indeed required.

Hey guys, I just read somewhere that the 92 day money-back guarantee only applies to those who pay via credit card. (Be careful and read the small print.) Good luck!
