The registrar won't and the trademark is limited to a narrow range of sites. If the site was set up to catalog rare lizards or something equally obscure there would be no problem. If it was set up to sell, promote, document sporting goods then there would be.
Hi, Don't get such domains!! I had one for asics-store.com and they sent me court order wanting to sue for for loss of profits for all the time I owed that domain. Bad stuff. I had to play dumb and delete the onwership You'll just get in trouble with this big corporations. Cheers, Venetsian.
Registrar wont get into trouble, they did not buy it or use it. They simply provided a domain registeration service. As far as trademark is concerned, it only matter if the site is damaging a particular brand.

It depends upon how the site is developed. The best bet would be to have the domain name parked and monetized. Developing adidas.tw in any way related to sporting goods will lead to a breach of trademark. A litigation is last thing one would want to have.

I do not think domain name registrar will send you refund. BTW when did you register this domain name? Perhaps you will be able to cancel registration?
