adsense not working

i can log into adsense but the ads never display on my website. what does this mean?

 

how long ago did you ad the code to your pages?

 

most probably it means that "there is no specific ads for your sites" in adsense language. But from my experience it won't correct by itself.
Anyway you can check what kind of ads would be displayed on your site with DP's sandbox tool

Thanks for posting the link jack. i remember when i first started adsense i used the sandbox, but completely forgot what it was called and what the address was

 

thanks. i have had the ads posted over 72hrs. i used the sandbox tool and it confirmed that there were no ads for my keywords. thanks.

 

I am curious, what keywords don't have matches?

 

lol, ya...could you post what your site was about(if you dont mind), id be curious to see what keywords you used that dont have ads aswell.

 

...perhaps keywords related to liquor and tobacco?...

strange though, I thought that when they don't have ads to display they serve publich announcements, so you should be seeing something. Does your browser have javascript enabled?

 

unless he opted for just colored background and turned PSA's off.
