    i would suggest you to start with shared hosting, as as your site grows up you can choose new package as per your growing needs.

    I'd go with something simple since it's your first time---iPage or FatCow are both very simple, easy to use and inexpensive---somewhere around $4 a month. THey have really great customer service, so you can get some hand holding as you build your site for the first time.
