Am I doing this right?

Ok, so I went to a lot of search engines and added my site. That's how I get it on google, etc. Right? Which would give me a PR of like 0 (is that possible) or 1 correct? And to get a higher PR I need to create backlinks? Correct? But now, do I need to add a meta tag or anything to my site? If so, could someone supply me with a code to use?

 

You should add meta tags...(do not listen to those who say not to do it) my software does my tags...Search Google "about meta tags" will give you details..

Get backlinks to improve SERP..... don't worry about PR, it will not make you any money....worry about targeted traffic...that will make you money...

Also I noticed that your "Entertain the Mind" domain name just links directly to your blogger. You should make it so that when someone goes to that domain it does not just switch to blahblahblah.blogspot.com but instead actually shows the domain. I think its called domain masking and will most likely positively effect your website with search engines.
