I never checked before, because I didn't think I had to, but now I stumbled to one of my EZ articles with the nofollow checker turned on and it showed my links as nofollowed. Is this something new or have they always been nofollowed?
I always put my value in the actual click through traffic of ezinearticles.com than I did the actual link juice, so to speak. My traffic has been decent, considering how quick and easy it is to throw a handful of articles up.
He didn't ask the quality of the backlinks, he asked about whether they were nofollow or not. There is some value to the backlinks at ezinearticles still, but the link juice isn't super-duper strong or anything.
That's certainly true, but anyone who is asking about whether a link is nofollow or not is surely implicitly asking about the value of those backlinks in terms of SEO.
All of my links are dofollow. However, I was once checking backlinks for one of my competitors, and I noticed a couple of their Ezine Articles were nofollow. I am really not sure why.
