Can autoblogs rank well in its targeted keywords? Does duplicate content play major role in SEO? I've been seeing some autoblogs are also indexed and can rank too in certain keywords. Please answer, thx
i've never run autoblogs but it seems like they would have a difficult time ranking well. The only potential I could see is if you were scraping some lesser known blogs and built a ton of links to your blog so yours had more authority than theirs. Kind of scummy if you ask me but it might work.
autoblogs have the content from public places.........so anyone can use that content.............so not penalized..........also if you report spam.......those can be banned.........
Recently, Google has begun de-indexing new pages that they determine are duplicate, or syndicated content. Not all pages are penalized, but ones that are caught can be. I recommend 95% uniqueness in order to ensure getting or staying indexed.
If you want good rankings, then definitely stick to original content. Using duplicate content is not beneficial to your rankings in the search engines.
It is said that Google doesn't accept duplicate content and penalize the websites having duplicate content. But practically I saw some examples that doesn't agree with this. One of my clients website was ranking well with fresh content but a website created few months back copied content from the website and started ranking well for the same keyword and my clients site dropped. We reported to Google, sent notice to the website owner but no action. So we can say autoblogs can also rank well with duplicate content.
