hello i have few questions about articles submission as i didnot try it before. first of all my site's niche has few competition niche and it won't be hard to rank in first page postions 1- what makes articles submission better than blog commenting and forum signatures? 2- Is it only helping to index? IF SO why don't i use other sites which index fast? 3- Can i write the articles in a niche which is different from my site's niche?
I am working on article submission stuff myself and while writing for your niche is good, I believe that it's okay to write articles about whatever things you may have knowledge about and still link back to your site. I am a mixing/mastering engineer and I have other interests as well, of course I'll stick to my niche, but at the same time, if I wanted to write something about an xbox 360 or PS2 I could and still get traffic most likely. That's just how I feel about it.
1- what makes articles submission better than blog commenting and forum signatures? >>> blog commenting and forum signatures have link on the comment section where articles have links in the body or author bio. some blogposts or forums threads may have dozens of comments and signature links where an article will only have one resource box with your site info. article links are 100% related as you submit them where other 2 may not be the same. article submission gives you lot more traffic than blog comments and forum sigs. 2- Is it only helping to index? IF SO why don't i use other sites which index fast? >>>it is not much for indexing as there are lot of other methods to get your site indexed lot faster. this is mainly to generate backlinks and drive traffic. 3- Can i write the articles in a niche which is different from my site's niche? >>>if you are gonna be writing articles, then it is wise to write an article on the same topic as your site. this way you are getting relevant contextual backlinks.

1. Purpose of article submission is to get others use your articles. If your article is republished 10 times, you have 11 back links. This is something that blog commenting cannot compete with. 2. Definitely helps in indexing. Other ways include Hubpages and Squidoo. The only difference is that Hubpages and Squidoo are copyright protected. 3. No point writing in different niche. Where are you going to point the readers to? You can't possible say read more in my blog, yet your blog posts are completely different. I suggest that you post the longer and original article in Hubpages, and summarize it into 300 words article for article directories.
