i try to do a test with an easy-to-remember domain name, the ones that get traffic from random type or typo.....and put google adsense for domain on it....and see if it can generate any income, from that...i mean, its like $10 to host per year....worth to give it a try right ? any suggestions ?
It is clearly depends, but for me, I choose a good domain based on the keywords, since it will give you a great boost in google if the keywords is contained in your domain name. random type is a bit "betting", it will be better if you choose a less crowded keywords and gain a good SERP. But this is only my oppinion.
One tool you can try using is nameboy.com - put in two words and see what it recommends for you. Short and memorable is the best.
Depends on what you plan to do with your site. If you want to get many returning visitors you need to put it small and easy to remember, but if you want to get traffic from Google you need to make some keyword research and use a good keyword for it
i mean....i would randomly type laptop.com or notebook.com.....but these 2 websies are just parking with ads, i bet its getting many traffic from random input
I try and use "review" somewhere in my domain, if its relevant. I have read that goolgle at one point was giving some bonus to these sort of domains.
use dictionary words u can also buy domain names relating to upcoming events. For example, if this were to be 3 months ago, then you buy domain names relating to the olympics. THINK AHEAD...
Search engines really like quality domain names which describes the service you are offering. Of course, this is not all, you'll need to have good, fresh content on your website, but the difference between a good or bad domain name is an important factor.
here me now! Go to google keyword tool, type in a keyword, then choose the one which has the highest monthly page views. Then check if you can registere that keyword. Try to avoid combinations like playing-football.com, instead register playingfootbal.com if you can. Also, register country specific domain name, so you will stand a better chance when it comes to seo. good luck!
Also- look for something that pays the best! Make the type of keywords and products you are targeting the ones that have the best paying types of advertisements so it makes it even sweeter for you
when you try to register a domain and its already taken the domain registrar would suggest some of those that are available so i try to get those available if it sounds decent
adsense for domains sucks. You seem to get a lot of traffic but no paid clicks. I've found parked.com to be a better parking platform than adsense for domains. as for buying domain names, I look for .com domains which exactly fit a Keyword term that gets a lot of searches and has low-moderate competition. it's hard to find them but when you do you can get to pg 1 of good traffic G queries relatively easily.
adsense for domains...didn't work well for me...I'd prefer to make a landing page /optimize keyword drive traffic to another site.
