My Blog is related to SEO, Web Traffic and Backlink Jobs. I have contributed only 3 good quality Blog posts when my Blog was published and achieved PR 0 status in just 30 days. Can I Achieve PR3 status through 9 more Blog Posts and 90 days? Here is my Blog given in signature. I am optimistic and hopeful.

PR 0 is no rank, you are automatically assigned it when your site is indexed! Also PR updates are less frequent than every 90 days so no, that's not going to happen. PR is worked out by the quality and number of backlinks so posting more articles won't directly conrtibute to PR. If your blog is related to SEO etc, shouldn't you know this already?

But it took 30 days for my Blog for PR 0 rank. Is there any specific number of backlinks that decides the Page Rank of a site? Of course quality Blog posts are better rather than quantity. But there are no ready made formula for high PR.

Yes, you could achieve PR3 status with only 9 posts. However, those posts would have to be on blogs with PR5+ and very low OBL (outbound links). That isn't easy to do.

You can have only 1 post and if your site is linked well, you'll get a PR3. PR3 isn't all that hard to get and the number of posts has nothing to do with it.

I think if you work hard for it, you can get PR3. I have seen some blogs with update only once a month, yet gain PR6. Those blogs have incoming links from Reuters.

Produce good quality content, search for similar, high ranking niche blogs in the same area that you are writing about and approach them for a link exchange / link on their blogroll or link list. This is an effective way of building up your links and will pay off with a little time and effort.

Actually PR0 IS a ranking. "Current page is not ranked by Google" is no rank for a particular page. But even this can be misleading because pages don't automatically show a PR0 when they're indexed. Look at almost any recent post made here today. The post is probably indexed at Google (use SITE:URLofPost to see if its indexed or search for the exact text from part of the post), but the Toolbar PR will still show as "Current page is not ranked by Google". That's because the last time Google updated it's toolbar PR, that URL did not exist.

Google Toolbar PR0 means your page has an "actual" page rank but not enough to get to PR1, just like PR1 means your page has a bit more page rank than a PR0 site, just not enought to get to PR2.

But you are absolutely correct that there is NO correlation between the number of posts and the PR of their sites home page. PR is calculated based on inbound links (from internal pages as well as external pages). So you can have a blog with 1 post and get your home page to PR3 or PR 5 or PR 7 or PR9 with enough followed inbound links from pages which are themselves indexed. It's link building that changes PR, NOT the number of posts/pages on your site.
