1. The site is using captcha verification. The script also has an anti-spam module named Akismet that is currently disabled, but it can be installed with one click from the admin panel.
Users can also be banned (and all theirs content removed) with one click, but I didn't had too much time to spend on this.

2. I have many sites and I spend the most of my time with design and programming work. I only monetize a few of my biggest sites. I have sites with 10 times higher traffic than this one that are still not monetized.

3. The files are just a few MB. The database is 26 MB.

The site is using the Pligg script (www.pligg.com) that is free and open-source and it is the most popular script for social bookmarking sites.

The site is currently running on auto-pilot. All the content is posted by users. If you take the site and if you have some time to spend on it, I recommend you to invest your time on promotion, monetization and link building.

 

According to its traffic stats the site seems to have a quite low alexa ranking. Any specific reason?
