Hello, I have a couple of question: 1- If 2 people live at the same address but have different bank accounts can they both register individual AdSense accounts? If that is possible then, 2- If one persons account eventually became banned, could the other person use their adsense account on those websites owned by the banned person? Hope that makes sense Thank you
1 - It seems to depend on what country you live in. In some countries Google doesn't allow more than one account per mailing address. It doesn't hurt to apply, though. 2 - It depends on why the account was disabled. If it was for program policy violations, then placing a different person's ads on that site will just get that account banned unless all the policy violations are fixed first.. Also, if the site attracts click-bombers then it's also a risk for any publisher to put their ads there.
Cheers Noony I think diversity of revenue is the way to go just in case one did unfortunately get banned ... does one have to be really foolish to be banned or is it a fairly common occurence? Once I'm up and running would it be OK to ask for someone to have a look a my site(s) to point out any possible violations? You mentioned click-bombers - apologies for my ignorance but what is that term and what attracts them....is there any software to help prevent the problem?
I think Nonny meant automated software that clicks on ads to make money for ad publisher or to get someone's (competitor's) Adsense publisher account banned
Either software or people. But it's clicking on your ads over and over trying to get your account disabled. The first line of defense is monitoring your site's visitors and your Adsense account. There are probably some scripts out there that might help, but I don't know of any specifics. If you read the Program Policies very carefully and follow them to the letter you should be OK. It seems like most people who have their accounts disabled fall into three categories: - people who intentionally try to cheat or who assume that the rules don't apply to them because they've seen other people breaking the rules and "getting away with it" - people who haven't bothered to read the program policies carefully and so are unintentionally breaking the rules - people who have friends and family who try to "help" them by clicking on lots of ads There are a few people who haven't visibly done any of those things and still get their accounts disabled, but they are few and far between. Many people who claim to have gotten banned for "no reason" have clearly violated the program policies when you look a bit closer at their site (or they finally remember that their friends clicked the ads).
Can you list those country names where adsense allow 2 account per mailing address, as far as i know one can have 1 personal and another business account per mailing address and this rule is same for usa/uk and asian countries. Correct me if i am wrong
You are allowed to have a personal account and an account in the name of your business. I don't know what countries permit multiple accounts at the same mailing address - I believe in the US and most of Europe it's allowed, but I'm not sure about Asia. You won't know for sure unless you apply.
