Hmm , i added my bank account few months ago , didnt asked for any confirmations.
paypal takes lots of time to transfer money to bank , 5 days for me ......

 

Donate them back so that they can invest in having a better and aware customer support team...

 

dude, the option was available from 20th jan or so.. it was not there earlier.. it normally take three days for me..

 

Hello i also added my bank account on 5 feb but then this paypal withdrawal problem started now i want to confirm my bank account but there is no deposit from paypal till now.What should i do or how can i remove my previous bank account details and add a new bank account details for verification.

Let me tell you about my experience which may help you!
Since people got introduced to farhad irani through his blog posting about paypal issues in india, I started contacting him instead of paypal customer support (paypal customer support is really dumb, you need to teach them every a b c d ..... z.. ) . Someone on the behalf of farhad irani replies to all my mails. I had tried to verify my paypal account on 2nd february and like you all indians, I too waited and waited, rechecked my account for any deposits but no deposit. Since after restoration of withdrawal services, I again mailed farhad regarding my bank acc. verification on how to proceed. Someone on his behalf replied that they have sent the deposit to my bank account now and I should check after 4-6 business days. Now, I'll check for it on Tuesday . I hope my account gets verified.
I advise you all who are stuck with dumb paypal customer response to ask support at paypal higher authorities email address.

thanks for your timely advise.. could you just inform about the date of sending the deposits to our respective banks? was it on 4th itself?

 

Im in the exact problem of verifying my bank account with paypal. But i just releaved from it by verifying my bank account with credit card, now my withdrawal limit is lifted. please try to do so for yourself

Re-adding the same bank account will not help, I have tried that. PayPal will show you that 2 deposits are already sent even after you re-add the old bank account.
Better to add another bank account I guess.

 

Paypal resent the verification amount on 5th of March or maybe 4th, I don't remember. BTW , I'll check my account on 9th and 10th till 12th

 

ys i have done attaching bank account and also selected 2 finds transfer now what will happen how to get verified and whats the next step to follow ...

 

did u already receive the funds in your bank a/c? if yes, remember the amounts, log on to pp and select 'confirm bank a/c'. there are two allocated spaces for entering the amounts u recvd in your bank. enter that and the process completes.

 

i have attached the bank acc before 6 months and i have got so many payments in bank already now waiting for small amount to deposit but how much it will deposit any suggestion ...

 

I got the 2 small deposit in my bank account today and just managed to verify my PayPal Premier Account.

 

Can you tell me the date of verifying?

 

I had added my bank account on 4th of this month , at present the status of verification is still pending because ,I can't see any deposits from paypal in my bank account .

here is the message status from my paypal account

In 4-6 business days, check your bank account: State Bank of India x-1234. You should see 2 deposits from PayPal on 6 March 2010. Then, go to your PayPal account and enter the amounts to complete the verification process. After you've confirmed your bank account, your Sending and Withdrawal limits will be removed.

i hav an update to share. PP is now asking us (i guess, those who has started the process during the turmoil) to delete the existing bank a/c and re-add it for the purpose of getting those two small deposits into our a/c for verification of PP through bank.

below is the mail that i was sent,

to assist you regarding the verification of your bank account.

Kindly remove and re add your bank account to initiate the random
deposits again.

To remove the bank account on your PayPal account, please follow the
instructions below:

1. Go to the PayPal website and log in to your account.
2. Click "Profile" at the top of the page.
3. Click the "Bank Accounts" link in the Financial Information
column.
4. Select the bank account to be removed and click "Remove."

To add your India bank account to your PayPal account:

1. Go to the PayPal website and log in to your account.
2. Click "Profile" at the top of the page.
3. Click the "Bank Accounts" link in the Financial Information
column. If you have already added a bank account, click the "Add"
button.
4. Select the country and click "Continue."
5. Select the name of the bank from the dropdown. Note: If your bank
is not listed, you cannot add it at this time.
6. Enter the 11 digit alpha-numeric Indian Financial System Code
(IFSC).
o PayPal uses the National Electronic Funds Transfers (NEFT)
system and you must add the IFSC code of a participating branch
location.
o The first four characters represent the bank code.
o The next character is a control character.
o The last 6 characters identify the branch.
o To view a list of participating IFSC codes, go to the
Reserve Bank of India website and click "List of NEFT enabled bank
branches."
7. Enter and re-enter your account number.
8. Click "Continue."
9. Review confirmation page and click the "Add Bank Account" button.
(Click "Edit" to make any changes).
