$100 Logo + $25 Biz Card Contest (FAST paypal payment + Feedback) - $125 in Prizes!!

Hi Everyone,

I am looking to get a logo designed for my company as well as a template for business cards. The company name is Beachrock Inc.

Logo: I am looking for something that will be 100% unique and contain all custom work. (ie. no clipart or incorporation of images on the net). I am very picky and only want something that will be of high quality. For the design I will leave it pretty open for you to come up with something that looks cool. I would like to incorporate both the beach and rock (music) side of the name in the design. For the rock side I would like to have a guitar or something musically related. Some companies that have styles that I like are: Hard Rock`s Wasted Space (http://www.hartswastedspace.com/) or the Hard Rock brand in general, Ed Hardy and Christian Audigier (basically what I am trying to say is I would like it to have a bit of a tattoo type style). Note: All logos should be in high resolution (I believe 600 dpi is the standard for a logo) and done with black, transparent and white background for the final choice.

How the contest will run: I will run the first part of the contest (the logo) for 72 hours after which I will pick a winner. I will give that person an opportunity to create the business cards without any competition. If I am not satisfied I will open up the contest to other people. I have run many contests in the past and have always paid very fast and even offered concellation prizes if I had a tough time deciding and felt someone really tried but one was slightly better (see my feedback).

For the business card style I will leave this up to you I just want it to be done in the proper resolution and sizing so I can get them made easily.

Hi Chewysmom, thanks for the entry!
It is pretty good, though it looks like a lot of the images you used were kind of just all stacked on top of each other and are very different. Did you create the images, or are these free images that you just changed in photoshop? Typically I think skulls are great in the designs but I am not sure it would be best in this case and if possible could you change the skull to some kind of big stone (ie. beach rock). Also the guitar looks very plain compared to the rest of the stuff in the logo. Could you try and make it all blend together a bit better?

I'm working on this right now but I was just wondering whether or not Beachrock has to be written on the same line or whether it can be done Beach with the word Rock under it? Thanks.

Thanks for the entry jacky. I would like if it also had some beach aspect to the logo though and not just music.

For others here is some additional info: This is not for a music company, it is for an online marketing company which I would eventually like to expand into different markets.

 

Hi Chewysmom, thanks for the update! I like the white one and the last one the most of all of those, but I think there is still a bit too much going in the skull, palm trees and guitar part. The text at the bottom looks great though. Could you try and make the images blend together a bit better or maybe make the guitar smaller or something. I don't know what it is, but it just seems like there is too many objects that don't really go together that great.

Hi Rovil, All of your designs have a bit too much focus on the image and the name doesn't really stand out that much. Also, it concerns me as to whether your images are original as you used the image above that I posted from Deviant art in your last attempt. Unless by chance that was your deviant art profile, that is stealing someone elses work.

 

Thanks for the entry, but I think it is a little too crazy for me with all the circles and size of the images.
